It's for Vince Droser who passed away earlier this week. His obituary and a very nice column about him were in today's Globe.

After putting the question out to the Ashmont Hill mailing list, we found out that the hat is in fact a tribute to Vince Droser, the VP of development at Trinity Financial (the creators of Ashmont's Carruth building).

Those at the funeral service this morning for Mr. Doser at All Saints' Ashmont heard a fuller version of this in a eulogy written by Mr. Doser's son, William: Real Men fry turkey; but, Real Dads are willing to cook tofu.
