If not Rachel Maddow, how about Elizabeth Warren to run against Brown?

There's a boomlet on the left drumstick of the body politic for the Harvard professor turned Washington consumer advocate.

The Herald, meanwhile, reports Salem Mayor Kimberley Driscoll is considering a bid.

I wrote-in Elizabeth Warren in January 2010. Yep, I couldn't vote for Coakley because I knew we'd be stuck with her forever and I'm done voting for corporatist neo-liberals who don't care about civil rights. I think Warren would be great for Massachusetts. She's a plain-talking economist with experience in public policy and government.

Given the fantastic job all the recent Harvard graduates have been doing in Government lately -can't we find someone else that isn't an ivy league academic?

So I didn't vote for Brown and everyone gets tusseled about because he apparently doesn't do anything. But what has John Kerry done for the last 20 years? A senator's job is to bring home the bacon and it might not be bad to have a (R) in office to get another mouth at the GOP trough.

This from the "The Rosenbergs were innocent!" crowd. These people won't be happy until Massachusetts has two Republican senators.

Elizabeth Warren is more valuable where she is. Any charming dumbass can run for Senate; we need the smart people like Warren in jobs where they can make a real difference.
