Laundry sticks together

NESN announced today a new slogan for its 2011 Red Sox coverage: "We're all in."

Just one problem, as Stephanie discovered:

We're all inAnd they announced it in December.

OK. So I give in. What's the problem? Is that not the uniform they usually wear? The emblem looks too much like "SeX" or maybe "SuX"? I will go with that cause it's true no matter what anyone says after they explain it.

It's not that NESN has a new slogan but that they're using the same slogan as the White Sox. It'd be like some lamer team deciding to also play "Sweet Caroline" during the game.

one could argue that the Metropolitan Transit Authority in New York City should go ahead and sue the MBTA because we use the same "See Something - Say Something" campaign they do.

Come on people - there are far more important things in life to get worked up about.

...deep shit for not checking this out first."

So, Boston creative agency MMB might be wanting to invest in an intern to check out other sports team's ad campaigns.

"We're very excited to be working with MMB," NESN's Director of Creative Services, Rick Booth, said in a news release on Wednesday. "They understand the sports fans of today, the strengths of our network and the unique passion and emotional connection that exist between the team and its fans."

Edit -- didn't look close, thought it was the Yankee at first.

shit happens...and then you step in it.

"Hey Charlie, the boss wants us to think of a few slogans for the boys this year, got any? Make it snappy, I got to pick up the kids at hockey."

"Ya Mick, how 'bout we're all in."

"Sounds good Charlie, let's get 'at a here because I'm all in too."

Shouldn't we have been "all in" five to ten years ago? You know, when No Limit Texas Hold'em was still cool...
