MBTA ridership keeps going up

The MBTA reports systemwide ridership in November increased by 5.5% over last year - and marked the third straight month of ridership above 1.3 million trips on a weekday.

Patterns
Always a lull in August and December - vacation time, and a peak in September and mid-Spring.
December ridership has been consistently getting worse every year since 2007. All the other months seem to be fluctuating with the economy.
