She followed the Internet to Boston

Sooz recounts the day she packed her bags and left Nebraska for what she thought was a summer trip to Boston:
Everything in my life changed when I got online on whatever day that was in September of 1993. The house I stayed in for the summer was a room sublet via a friend on ISCABBS who was studying abroad for the summer. Everything was arranged online and fortunately when I arrived, I still had a place to live for the summer.
Every day since then has been an adventure.

Molly -- ha! What was your username on ISCABBS? My account expired a long time ago. I was Cool White Stare -- named after a 10,000 Maniacs bootleg CD of a live show. Ah yes, bootleg CDs. Now I definitely feel old!
