Teen shot to death in Dorchester

Boston Police report an 18-year-old was gunned down around 3:10 p.m. at Norfolk and Whitman streets. Police did not identify him, but family and friends identified him last night as Kris McKinney.

Immediately following the shooting, police were looking for two black males in a red truck with New York plates.

Wow. Even though I know what to expect *every time* I look at them, the train wreck known as the 'Comments' section of BostonHerald.com never ceases to depress me about people.

I'll just keep teling myself that everyone there is simply trolling for a reaction, and it is some sort of satirical group performance art that I am not into.

Face it, the people in this town who don't suck are the minority. Too many thugs, too many idiots, too many jerks, too many thieves. What should be a great town is a shitty town, because of the people.

Not that anyone cares, but the only reason I haven't left already is because Cambridge and Somerville suck in different ways than Boston proper but their net suckage is a lot lower.

I'm honestly curious and not being snarky: Based on what you said, where do you think people don't suck at all, or suck to a minimal degree? i.e. where would you leave to in order to evade all the suckiness? Serious question. I think people are the same everywhere, I'd like to have an actual name of a town/country that you feel is better.
