A concerned citizen posted this photo of a space at 100 Sydney St. in Dorchester, along with this note:
I thought this crap was supposed to get picked up with the trash collection.

What is the....
.....trash day for that neighborhood? Space savers are thrown out with the curbside trash after the 48 hour grace period. I believe public works will come around with city trucks and pick up when a case is reported through citizens connect.......snarky comment added or not.
I took this picture. Our
I took this picture. Our trash day is Friday, and if you look in the background, you can see emptied trash cans. This was taken perhaps a half hour after the trucks went through, which was also after 9am which marked 48 hours since the snow emergency was lifted.
I don't know how they do it elsewhere in the city, but I can assure you that in my neighborhood, the trash collectors absolutely do not pick up space savers. I have never once seen it happen.
Trash pickup?
On my street in JP, we're still waiting for our regular trash pickup.
