Yesterday, as recorded by jojo23jojo23, playing David Gonzalez's guitar. His son goes to BC, and we all know what yesterday was.

Attention iPhone users
When using a cellphone to record video, hold the damn thing sideways.
You're not recording a call, you're recording a video.
and maybe pan around a little
and maybe pan around a little bit. show the crowd if there was one, and longer video!
why?
Yeah, landscape is standard but if your subject is vertical and you're not planning to mix it in with any other material in a different format, why not?
Not allowed
The playing of musical instruments in the Public Garden is not allowed. Take it to the Common.
There are buskers all over
There are buskers all over the Garden.
What are you talking about?
might technically not be allowed but it is certainly tolerated.
It's annoying
I find the buskers in the Garden to be annoying. They tend to stake out the bridge, which may be where Bruce was, and slow foot traffic by clogging the path. When you're going somewhere, the tourists -always appreciated- are traffic enough. I don't want a busker too. I agree they should go elsewhere. Perhaps to the Blue Line. I never ride the Blue Line.
Of course, there should be a Bruce Springsteen exception to the No Buskers rule.
Bruce is da man
There should be a Bruce Springsteen exception to every rule.
Damn dirty buskers better
Damn dirty buskers better stay off your lawn, too.
Lawn
I don't have a lawn, because I live in the city, which is how I know about foot traffic over the bridge. And, yes, they should stay off the grass too.
But if Bruce wants to walk on the grass, that's fine.
Buskers on the bridge don't
Buskers on the bridge don't bother me at all and I use it often in nice weather. I think they add a little flavor. And honestly, the crowds aren't Bieberesque- nothing an "excuse me" won't get you through.
It's a public garden for the enjoyment of the people, not a pedestrian turnpike.
I also enjoy sitting on the grass where it's allowed and am glad that not only rock superstars are allowed to busk or bask.
to each his own.
Full story
WHDH news had the full story last night (don't know if any other stations bothered to do any original reporting), which was actually quite touching.
You're not kidding
What a cool story.
