Channel 7 reports she was one of 40 to 50 students just hanging out on the BU dock early Sunday.

I'm confused...how exactly did she manage to end up in critical condition in the first place? Drinking? Hit her head on the dock? Or are the stories about the Charles being radioactive true?

don't expect too much from the media after they grab the headlines.
i mean would this sell?

-college student falls in water, almost drown and goes to MGH, was found to be drinking w/ underage friends on floating dock. yawn.

-teenager runs away for two days, entire Boston Police force put on alert, girl found and revealed to be upset about grounding. double yawn.

-mayor indicted in cannoli-for-parking scandal, protestors take over charlestown bridge, episode explained away as diabetic coma and tea-party counter-espionage.
