Uh, oh, let's hope they don't try to trademark 'MBTA' or 'Public Garden'

The Globe reports that Disney, most recently in the news for seeking to trademark the phrase "Seal Team 6," is opening a research lab in Cambridge:

The lab is currently hiring researchers in social and behavioral sciences, data analytics and data mining, media, and transportation.

They could do that because the federal government doesn't actually acknowledge that Seal Team 6 exists. I'm sure that the MBTA has its own name trademarked.
