Herald laying it on real thick
Basically accusing the Globe of setting up this lady for a Mob assassination. And here sanctimoniously proclaiming: "The Herald is not revealing her identity."
Which strikes me as a lot of phony posturing, especially considering that the Herald's own Michele McPhee (and probably others) practically dared the FBI to reveal the informant's identity a couple of months ago.
Iceland, being an island
probably can keep out unwanted tourists and immigrants much more easily than we can.
I think that the boyos at our local tabloid
Are pissed that they got scooped.
Also, today's gratuious photo of a bikini-clad Boston tourist outside the Santa Monica apartment really added to the reportage on this one.
