The Salem News reports: Witches accused of zombie abuse.

Police expressed some frustration with the situation and an off-the-record longing for November.

Sounds like a job for Vimes of the City Watch.

This sounds like a job for the Licensing Board (of Salem)!

Seriously, if this is a continual problem between the two companies, then why haven't they been told that they'll BOTH lose their entertainment licenses if they can't control how their employees treat the other company's employees?

Given the down economy, the two should stop fighting each other and create a discount deal where a same-day purchase of a ticket for one gives a discount for the other and split those ticket sales accordingly.

Maybe the whole thing was an act, part of a plan to bring (even more) tourists to Salem, to watch the famous battle of the Witches vs. the Zombies.

Knowing what (else) goes on in Salem in October, it's not a far stretch of the imagination.

And if it wasn't planned that way, maybe the two rival attractions should join forces and promote the Battle of the Haunteds as their next big thing.
