Michel Louis at his church

Scott Eisen photographed a homecoming service today for the Rev. Michel Louis of the Eglise de Dieu de la Pentecote Libre in Dorchester. Louis and Lissa Alphonse of Everett had been kidnapped by a man in Egypt in a dispute over the man's jailed uncle.

On Fox 25

I was watching the news reports Sunday night and they were singling out Scott Brown's assistance as being crucial to their return. Is this just Fox 25 pushing their candidate or was the rest of our Congressional delegation out of the loop on this?

Negotiating with Terrorists?

So Scott Brown was negotiating with terrorists?

Brown seemingly better at retail politics

Allegedly Kerry did more to get diplomat efforts rolling in Egypt, but Brown was better at communicating with the hostages' family here. There have been a few local news pieces about it where Kerry comes off as understandably (but unfortunately for him) grouchy about the lion's share of credit going to the junior senator.

Really no surprise that the shamelessly partisan Faux decided to focus on the narrative that promotes Brown's role.
