Early morning fire rips through Allston laundromat

The Boston Fire Department reports a two-alarm fire heavily damaged a block of stores on Glenville Avenue. The fire, reported around 3:45 a.m., started in the Glenville Laundromat and did an estimated $350,000 in damage, the department reports, adding the cause was a short circuit in an electrical panel. There were no injuries.
