Rob Bellinger traveled to Revere Beach yesterday for the sand-carving festival, including this sandy statue of a see-through Medusa.

"The Earth Cries," by Benjamin Probanza, from Acapulco, Mexico. Apparently he does animated films with sand as well.

How long will sand sculptures remain in Revere?
Will they still be there today or tomorrow? I want to see them, but don't want to make a long bike or T trek from Somerville for nothing.
