Paul Keleher watched the Marathon near the Newton/Wellesley line. He captured both the women's leaders (winner Sharon Cherop was fifth at that point) and the men (winner Wesley Korir was fourth):
The Globe reports dozens of runners wound up in the hospital due to the record-high heat.

I think that's Laban Korir in 4th, the winner Wesley is on the right there being obscured there by Geoff Mutai.
