Man charged with 2010 murder in Grove Hall; already awaiting trial for allegedly shooting three men in Brockton

Darius Gibson, 22, was indicted last week on murder charges for allegedly gunning down Terrence Kelley, 18, on Creston Street in May, 2010, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Officials didn't have to search hard for Gibson - he's already behind bars awaiting trial on charges he shot three men in Brockton in September, 2010. He's also awaiting sentencing on federal gun charges to which he pleaded guilty.

According to the DA's office:

Kelley had just left a friend's house on the sunny Friday afternoon of May 28, 2010, when a gunman chased him down Creston Street and shot him multiple times. Kelley was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he died of his injuries. Witnesses, corroborated by area surveillance video, eventually implicated Gibson as the killer. He is also accused of threatening a potential witness.

In October, a grand jury indicted James Austin, 24, on charges he lied to investigators in the case: He is an alleged pal of Gibson's and watched him murder Kelley, then denied that when detectives talked to him, the DA's office says.

Innocent, etc.
