Wow, a civil rights violation. One would expect the usual cast of characters would be up in arms over this. Or does it not count if the perpetrators are black, and the victim in gay?

The usual cast of characters probably doesn't know about this, given the only media outlet that's written about it yet is Dorchester's better but smaller circulation newspaper.

It was mentioned at around 5:00 on WBUR by Sacha Pfeiffer.

A gay man suffers a savage beating by two thugs, it will be interesting to find out if the driver and other passengers sat and watched or if they if they came to the aid of the poor man. There was a movie called the Incident about a similar situation.

So when you see two men giving another a savage beating, you always step right in. Right? Tell us about your experiences.

No, I wouldn't jump into active physical violence if I walked up and it was happening, but I do say something when someone starts saying something that sounds like hate speech to someone they don't know. I wasn't there, but I'm guessing it wasn't a sudden jumping of someone without some prior "what are you looking at?" crap.
