Ninjas with droopy pants always arouse suspicion late at night in West Roxbury

Boston Police report arresting a Dorchester man on charges he was wandering around Garnet Road breaking into cars.

Police say officers responding to a report of "a suspicious person wearing all black walking up driveways and looking into cars" around midnight found Dennis J. Winslow, 47, standing in the driveway of 79 Garnet Rd.. Winslow told them a friend had dropped him off on the quiet side street and that he was only looking for a backyard in which to urinate.

A quick glance at Winslow, however, gave officers cause to doubt this story, what with "his pockets protruding from his pockets including a GPS and a large amount of coins causing the pockets to droop." The GPS, officers were able to determine, belonged to a car parked at, surprise, 79 Garnet Rd.

Winslow was charged with charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle in the night and receiving stolen property. After he was arrested, officers recovered $100 in coins from his pockets, along with scratch tickets and an iPod, police say.

Innocent, etc.
