Around 7 a.m., State Police had to round up a pair of bovines that somehow wound up on the median strip of Rte. 195 in Dartmouth. They were then reunited with their owner. A couple hours later, Jason Laramie reported that two turkeys were wandering the Riverway near the Fenway.

Cows in road
I rode in an organized bike ride two weekends ago (D2R2) out in western Mass, and on one of the roads, the cue sheet warned that cows were often in the road. And as promised, they were there. Hitting a cow would hurt. ;-)
Wild Kingdom
I get a kick out of the media reports on wild animals showing up in our cities and towns. Whether it's wolves in Winchester, coyotes in Canton, or turkeys in Southie, news reports often conclude with, "Authorities have no idea where the (insert animal) came from." They came from the fucking woods. What kind of an 'authority' doesn't know that?
