Roslindale man charged with stabbing murder outside JP 7-Eleven last fall

Hector "Nemo" Soto was ordered held without bail today at his arraignment for the murder of Kenneth "Black" Soto - no relation - on Oct. 16, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Hector Soto, 20, was arrested last night in Roslindale, the DA's office says.

According to prosecutors, the two Sotos showed up in separate cars in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven at Centre and South Huntington early that morning. Kenneth Soto, out with friends, went into the store; when he came out, he and Hector Soto got into a fight that ended when Hector pulled out a knife, stabbed Kenneth and then fled in their car, the DA's office says.

Innocent, etc.

The real question is who provided Nemo with the breathing apparatus which enabled him to step on land.

Adam, can't the above comment be removed? It contributes nothing.

... then look for the contact tab on adamg's profile page, click this -- and get a form to send a message to Adam.... (He'll likely see this faster than he sees your message).

Thanks for the tip, Michael. I thought I would be able to let Adam know before anyone had to see a rather stupid thing, but I guess not this time. So, enjoy the stupid thing everyone. It's barely worth mentioning, but I did. Oh, well.

If Michael wants to play Morality Police, he should become a sportswriter. In the meantime, get your censoring, goldbrickin' self out of the comments field.

So it's your job to protect us from unpleasant opinions?

What a surprise.

No. It's not an opinion. It's just irrelevant. If it was an opinion I wouldn't think of it.

I found it very relevant, thank you

Hmmm. I guess Not Whitey and the anon(s) see something in the first comment that I don't. I don't even understand it. What is the reference? A cartoon fish? What does it have to do with anything other than that the guy's nickname is Nemo? How is it an opinion? I ask you Whitey. Explain it to me. Original poster, explain it? Explain why it is relevant anon(s). I seriously am asking. Maybe I missed it.

I commented on the demand for censorship. Don't ask me what the OP was talking about - I don't know and I don't care.

Accusations of censorship seem a little overblown. Removing a piece of what is essentially spam before relatives of the kid see it doesn't qualify as censorship I don't think. I recall that when this kid was murdered some of his friends commented on this site--but happily they have better things to do now than to see what a bunch of curmudgeons and dimwits have to say about a thing they have no real interest in addressing seriously. I gather that the comments left on sites such as this when a person is murdered in what could have been a "gang" related killing can be hurtful to friends and family of the victim. I thought trivializing the murder with a Disney reference could just be, you know, avoided.

doesn't owe you an explanation of any kind. The only acceptable answer to free speech -- as the first poster's message wasn't hate speech or even vulgarity -- is opposing speech, NOT censorship.

Whit, I love that you're going to pick here and now to decide what adds to the discussion and what doesn't. These comments fields are filled with non sequitrs, witty asides and tangents that sometimes drift off topic a tad. They don't hurt anyone and they give the place character.

You may not like the first post, but I don't care a Whit what you like. I support the first poster's speech, dumb as it may be, and I'll cancel out your call for censorship.

So threatening to kill your neighbor's animals is free speech, too?

You're out of your element, Donny.

OK. If you want to make stupid comments here I guess that is your right and anyone else who cares to. Still, seems like spamish comments can just be removed like the garbage that they are. For example, your comment has merit b/c it is on topic and is not spam, though the "whit" thing is so lame as to hardly deserve notice, but since it isn't spam and is an opinion it would not warrant removal--it isn't like the junk mail you just delete from your email account, which the first post is.

Hey John F. I see that you are just some random ignorant wanker, so I will leave this alone now.

They caught the alleged killer. From all reports the deceased was a great kid who had the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
