Associated Press reports on the sudden departure of the conductor of the school's Youth Philharmonic after the school learned who he'd hired to video performances. Channel 4 also reports.

According to the Globe:

In 1994, he pleaded guilty to raping a boy and lesser sexual abuse charges involving two other teens. He was sentenced to 11 to 15 years at MCI-Cedar Junction in Walpole, with all but five years suspended.

We can't expect local news reporters to actually investigate! Besides, reporting local stories in any sort of depth beyond 20 seconds of air time might distract from the all-important Tebow updates.
