Single-car crash kills three on Morrissey Boulevard

State Police report a car smashed into a bridge abutment on Morrissey Boulevard northbound near Freeport Street early this morning and that three people are dead.

The Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports two men, 19 and 20, were pronounced dead at the scene. The third victim, a 19-year-old woman, was extricated from the remains of the car with the Jaws of Life, but was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

NECN has video from the scene. State Police shut Morrissey Boulevard for the investigation.
