Jay Fitzgerald says farewell.
in this forum I've bitched about how professional athletes are the most difficult and arrogant people I've ever met.
Ray Allen is not one of them. A true gentleman, he and his wife are the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. I credit it to his mom, a feisty lady who is full of class.
I wish him well in all his endeavors!
I feel like Rondo spent 2/3 of every game getting him the ball and trying to get him warmed up, and if he hits two or three long ones in the last quarter it's called clutch three point shooting. But I can't remember listening to a game he's dominated start to finish in years.
You're always good in our book, f0r all you did for us!!!
I'm always going to remember it. I was out at Leo J hitting a bucket at the driving range.
I heard someone from the clubhouse ask a few people if they wouldn't mind moving down the row for "Mr. Allen". The next thing I know, Ray shows up with a friend who he is teaching to swing and I'm hacking away only a few tees down.
I will always remember it as the day I went golfing with Ray Allen.
