I've been due for an upgrade since June or so and waited for the new one to be available, but I didn't read the email announcing preorders until Saturday (I think they started early Friday morning). I ordered from the AT&T website on Saturday afternoon and today when I arrived home, my new phone was waiting for me. It's. . .thinner? I don't know. My old one was starting to have issues and I would have needed something before too long, so I'm glad I got the new one. But so far I don't see anything ground breaking. Granted, I've only used it for texting and figuring out a tip tonight. Maybe I just have yet to stumble upon its awesomeness.
