This would be funny if a state cop mistook a golden retriever for a deer and accidentally shot the dog's owner with a .50 caliber rifle and she survived but since that's never going to happen, this is in horribly bad taste.
I like it too, but the front page has (aside from the headlines) typically been a place to report news rather than to indulge in snark, no matter how richly deserved.
Pretty damned funny on a morning that I have to face going back to work after a three day weekend. Especially the "Flag-uh" thing. How's that civilian flagger program working out for us so far, by the way (cue the crickets here....)
Much rather see this parody than the three preceding stories, real, news, all detailing shootings all over the city.

Brett however assumes everyone knows the above referenced stories before he delivers the snark, as opposed to Adam who weaves the snark (the angle) into his telling of the story. I take no offense to Brett's presentation nor Adam's decision to post it where everyone will see it.
To everyone who has a complaint about it, have you heard the rejoinder that the remedy is more speech, not less. Write a post, show us how its done.
