There is also a turtle crossing sign at Butler Road in Quincy. I posted about it.
Had a 3-turtle day last week
Yup, lots of turtles out on the roads. During a noontime bike ride last week, I saved 3 turtles out here in the boonies, one of them a good-sized snapper. The snapper made it easy for me, as he got off the road on his own.
I hate seeing a smooshed turtle on the road.
