Watching a man get pepper-sprayed in the face

Mats Tolander reports on (and photographs) an incident on Comm. Ave. by BU's Warren Towers yesterday that ended with an MBTA cop spraying a belligerent guy in the face with pepper spray and cuffing him.

I'm positive I recognize the guy. And yeah, it's usually a treo with a dog. My impression is they come into the city from some rural area.

Only one pepper spray incident ? With all the unhappy people who can't afford the fare hikes arguing with drivers I have to believe the T Police will be issued canisters the size of fire extinguishers.

I was hoping it would be one of those organized beggars that get in your face for Greenpeace, Planned Parenthood, or the American Red Cross. God, I hate those bastards. I don't care if you have a little vest and a clipboard; just let me walk down the street in peace.
