Nope, can't do that. One Fund is only for those who suffered physical injury.

Gotta give credit to the boat owner.

I'm sure one of the other funds will be willing to pitch in to pay for the damage.

I'm a little surprised it's only for the folks who were injured as there were a lot of people with damages beyond what any insurance might cover. But as long as they are reasonably clear about how it can be used... I see they won't adjust for insurance payments and the like. Seems odd as you don't want to encourage "double dipping" for costs that will be covered by insurance (and to make the funds last longer because some folks are going to have a lifetime of extra costs).

Charge people a buck to look at it until you have enough money to buy a gallon of fiberglass epoxy to plug the holes.

I dunno, guy still deserves a new boat.
