Boston-bound Amtrak train plows into three deer in Connecticut

In Stonington. And then the train had to stop to pick up passengers from an earlier train that died, according to Laurie and PackyLions, who are on the train. Laurie adds:

RIP to the three deer that are now smushed in the engine of my train.

See the "that" in the sentence? It's the reason we don't think the passengers died.
