I've long suspected that you couldn't outrun a police car on a scooter, but I'd never actually put my theory to the test. From an scientific and engineering standpoint, that bothered me. It was costing me precious beauty sleep every night.
I think we should all congratulate Mr. Fitzgerald for actually having the stones to test the theory. He just needs to revise and test it a few hundred more times and he might even be able to publish his results.
