Consalvo getting it done

Mike Ball comes away impressed from Rob Consalvo's kickoff rally in JP, although he says he needs to flesh out his proposed agenda:

So far, no one in the race has advanced either a brilliant slogan or a revolutionary platform. Rob's catchphrase Making Boston Better is more than adequate. He simply has to convince enough voters that he can pull that off, that he can harden up his kind of spongy goals and achieve each one. Last evening was promising.

Considering that Consalvo thinks my dog should be euthanized for no particular reason other than who her parents were, he can get bent.

Everything else I can recall seeing from Consalvo suggests that he wants all of Boston to be a boring suburb that closes at 10 PM.

is the Mayors Joe Biden! I think that over all, regardless of who you choose to support most Bostonian's want to see change! Should that change be in the School system, ending police details, better public transit, youth violence, drug addition, youth programs, property tax ect, ect, ect is irrelevant.

Electing a carbon-copy of Mumbles is pointless!

(points if you can identify the reference)

Nobody is coming up with any revolutionary ideas and winning the mayoral race. It's a simple formula, revolutionaries lose the city hall vote and without that you can't win the election.

If you need any additional information, see the post from yesterday about the BFD deputies complaining about the fire chief. Change comes hard in this town.
