DA: Hyde Park school aide was spotted assaulting special-needs student in school restroom

A West Roxbury District Court judge today set bail at $12,500 for an aide at the Boston Community Leadership Academy on charges of indecent assault and battery on a person with a disability and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon - a shod foot - the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Prosecutors had asked for bail of $125,000 for Thomas Burke, 57. Judge Kathleen Coffey did grant prosecutors’ requests for orders that Burke stay away from all children under 17 and all schools and playgrounds, except for an employment-related hearing on Jan. 3.

According to the DA's office:

On Friday afternoon, a witness there reported seeing Burke sexually assaulting the victim, a teenage boy, in a school restroom. When Burke saw this witness, he allegedly kicked the victim and told him to "hurry up."

But god forbid a biker is yelled at by an old school Bostonian, the city (UHub) will burn. If this man is found guilty I hope he is punished to the full extent of the law.

There isn't much too say.

Nothing is controversial here, either. Nobody is going to defend this.

Do you think anyone here disagrees with this sentiment? It sort of goes without saying -- not much room for debate. Articles that get lots of responses are ones that people tend to want to argtue about.

Besides, this story was already reported here yesterday.

Seriously, why does it matter?

Do you want us all to comment "Sick Fuck" and "Yeah, Sick Fuck" and "Definitely, Sick Fuck"? Just for the sake of running up the number of comments?
