Early morning fire forces residents out of Mattapan three decker

The Boston Fire Department reports a 2-alarm fire at 16 Estella St. forced out 12 people and sent one firefighter to the hospital with burns.

The fire, reported at 2:08 a.m., did an estimated $500,000 damage, the department reports, adding the cause remains under investigation.
