The video that you see is of Downtown Boston during the lockdown. This area is Chinatown's most northern border.
This footage is from near the DMV on Washington Street in downtown Boston. A stabbing occurred only minutes earlier and many homeless people were congregating under the old Edison Building. There were state police cars parked, but all officers were at specific locations accross the city in search for the Boston Bomber.
This scene is from in front of South Station, which was surrounded by Police everywhere. Many homeless people sat accross the street from South Station with there belongings on the steps of Bank of America and across from the Federal Reserve.
The scene is from across from South Station on the side of Congress Street where the Federal Reserve is. As you can see there is heavy armed police presence at South Station and U.S. Federal Reserve Police Officers armed with automatic AR-15 assault weapons.
