This should
help to keep out the Ultra Liberal, Prius Driving transplants. Its just not urban enough when you see dears.
PS this is not a rare occurrence, also a lot of fox's in the area as well.
Too late, my dear
Prius owners of Roslindale represent:
We're here, we steer, we love the deer.
Yeah, I know deer are not, um, unherd of in Roslindale - they've got deer-crossing signs in Stony Brook now - but so? At least until we all start coming down with Lyme Disease, they're still cool.

There are 3 Prii (all the same generation, and same color) on my short, dead-end street in Roslindale -- including mine.
I've seen a coyote, a few raccoons, and more than enough squirrels, but I haven't seen a deer.
On my block
We have the only Prius, although our next-door neighbor does have a hybrid Camry. They're both balanced out, I guess, by the person across the street with the Land Rover.
Prius drivers
I don't have a Prius myself, but there are plenty of Prius drivers in this neighborhood already. Just up the hill from where I took this photo, there's even a guy who rents his Prius out, sparing others from the need to own a car and sharing the Prius-driving wealth.
This is the first deer I've seen in 11 years of living in this part of Roslindale, despite the proximity to the arboretum. Mostly I was just surprised to see it a short block from a commuter rail station during the morning commute.
BAMBI!
Please don't hurt her!
I saw Bambi
I saw Bambi a few hundred feet away @ the Rialto, in the mid-60s.
Bambi was a dude.
See that how i know your all
Transplants, ever hear of Turtle Pond/Stony Brook Res & George Write. In West Rox their f*cking everywhere, RL/Crushed Stone, Harvard Vanguard/Hancock, Millennium/Brook Farm, Allandale and every cemetery.
Sheesh, Gramps, OK, we'll get off your lawn now
I can see George Wright AND Stony Brook from my kitchen window, though, does that count for anything?
That's my car...
and it's a Honda Fit, not a Prius.
