Local company develops kit to turn bicycles into hybrids

The Boston Business Journal introduces us to Superpedestrian, which is about to launch a rear-wheel replacement that stores energy from braking in a lithium battery - which then releases it to help bicyclists up hills or to just go extra fast. Based in Cambridge and founded by somebody at MIT, natch.
