Dick Dodd, drummer and lead singer for the Standells, died yesterday. He was 68.

I always thought it was kind of interesting that despite their hit song, the Standells were from Los Angeles and had nothing to do with Boston at all.

I've always liked that song a great deal, and still do.

Sorry to hear about the death of the drummer of The Standells. He died too young, imho.
