2-for-4. Now all we need is a power failure on the Blue line and a busted Green line train just inside Copley and we'll have the city's rapid transit paralyzed.

Buses! Buses everywhere!

Power on the Blue Line

They actually turned it off at State Street after the Orange Line incident. It's back on, though.

Dead Green Line train

Firetrucks and ambulance I get, but ...

Why is there a trolley bus outside State Street in this photo?

I was there...

and I don't think the center lane was blocked by rescue vehicles. There was a a cop directing traffic when I was passing through.

Thanks

So it was probably just a question of perspective with the photo - the trolley looks like a curious puppy sticking its nose into the crowd trying to get a better look, but it's really just navigating on its regular route (given that they normally stop right across from the Old State House).

What happened?

Between a new Pope and Welker's departure, it seems the newsies in town are unable to cover more than two stories at a time...
