Police seek the gang member who got away

BarrosBoston Police report they are looking for Jackson Barros, 30, of Dorchester, in connection with today's early morning raids aimed at breaking up two Dorchester gangs involved in drugs and guns.

This would not be Barros's first arrest. In 2003, he was charged with distributing crack in Roxbury.

Carmen Ortiz going after more vicitmless crime. Hopefully she has learned her lesson and will show prosecutorial leniency in this matter. Who know what this Barros kid could accomplish if his life isn't ruined with a felony conviction?
