Third-floor porch collapses on Mission Hill, multiple injuries

Emergency workers are at 1538 Tremont St., where a rear third-floor porch collapsed onto the second-floor porch before 11 p.m. As many as 14 people may have been injured, several with possible neck and back injures, although none considered life threatening. Two people had to be extricated from the remains of the porch.

Tremont is shut between Brigham Circle and Columbus Avenue.
