Roxbury man arrested for April, 2012 double shooting that killed one in a Roxbury gas station

Boston Police report the arrest of Maurice Jones, 20, on charges he shot two people in a car parked at a gas station at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Moreland Street on April 17, 2012, killing one.

Jones was picked up by the BPD fugitive squad for the death of Dinorris Alston, 32, Roxbury, and the non-fatal shooting of the woman sitting in the car with him, police say.

A grand jury had already indicted Jones, so he is scheduled for arraignment today in Suffolk Superior Court.
