He Will Truly Be Missed
Bill was always smiling, always had a few friendly words. He energized the place and was part of the Giacomo's experience. It won't be the same without him there. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. We'll miss you, Bill.
Such a great guy - he will be missed
Bill was such a great guy. Always had a smile on his face and made you feel so comfortable. He will be missed very much, but I am thankful to have met him.
Natural causes at 52? I don't
Natural causes at 52? I don't understand.
Any number of things
A heart attack, say (no, I have no inside knowledge of why he died, but recall from the original article that he didn't seem to be doing well when he left work).
Happens all the time
Just within my family, both grandfathers died of natural causes in their 40s, two uncles died of natural causes in their early 50s, and an aunt had an epileptic seizure, fell, hit her head, and never regained consciousness when she was in her early 20s (even though it's an accidental death, the precipitating event was natural).
This doesn't make it any easier for family or friends, but there is, frustratingly, nothing unusual in a man in his early 50s dying, even in 2013. All we can really do here is comfort the survivors.
Natural causes kill people of
Natural causes kill people of any age. Also, 52, isn't 25, or 30, or even 40. Working in the restaurant industry for a long time also can destroy your health. Working late, especially at night, spending hours on your feet moving around, smoking, drinking, and eating lots of restaurant food all take a toll on your health.
