It's Timothy Richard Tebow's 26th birthday today. Did his Lord and Savior send him a birthday present?

This injury of Brady is significant because he's 36 years old. His legs have seen significant injury in the past.

I love Brady but he's gonna retire soon.

My opinion is that Tebow is the future of the Patriots and he will get significant time and reps under Josh McDaniel's tutoring during pre-season now because of the Patriots being cautious with Brady until the regular season begins.

Age has nothing to do with how significant his injury is. Obviously if he torn another ACL, yes it would, but he didn't. He sprained his knee, which will heal fine.

Brady is going to play into his 40's.

Tebow is absolutely NOT the future of the Patriots. Tebow was a low-risk, (probably) low-reward pickup. Everyone needs a 3rd QB, and that's exactly what TT will be for the pats.

As much as I like Tebow - a lot - it will likely be Mallett Time if Brady's injuries leave him incapacitated for any significant lengths of time during any part of the regular season.

Of course, what with Mallett having been injured in the Philadelphia game, it is is certainly Tebow Time now.

Brady will decline in stats, and progress in beatings on the field, all due to the departure of Welker . He is not a durable or evasive dude, say like Brett Favre, who could take a beating. And Tebow , while a good lad, is not a NFL caliber quarterback. He should be Paul Hornung- ized as Vince Lombardi did. Even if the Patriots did re-engineer the offense to his skill set , those types of quarterbacks are short lived , and easily defended , once you know the deal. Just hope the patriots dont settle on Johhny football.
