Teen arrested for mob attack on MBTA bus driver
Transit Police report arresting a Roxbury teenager for his alleged role in an attack on a Route 16 driver that left him with a banged-up face.
Albert Galloway, 18, will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges of wrongful interference of a bus, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a shod foot), assault and battery and fare evasion, police say.
Police say the driver was attacked by up to 20 teens around 1:20 a.m. at Columbia Road and Geneva Avenue when he made a stop. Some of his attackers got on the bus and began beating him, some of them tried pulling him off the bus through his window, police say.
UPDATE: Dorchester District Court Judge Robert Baylor imposed $15,000 bail, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. If he makes bail, he'll also have to stay off the T, wear a GPS device, and be home between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Innocent, etc.

How long
until we hear the "he was trying to turn his life around" claim?
Wrong!
This claim won't come up for this scenario. Instead we'll hear from some family and friends. They'll all call him a good boy, and mention how out of character this is for him.
Galloway?
He's a guid laddie that's ne'er bin in trooble afair!
or that he was an aspiring
or that he was an aspiring basketball player or hip hop star.
I'm glad they caught someone,
I'm glad they caught someone, and if found guilty, I hope they throw the book at him, but the question keeps repeating in my head:
"wrongful interference of a bus"? That's a law? Is there such a thing as non-wrongful, or proper, interference of a bus? What types of actions fall into bus interference that wouldn't be covered by other laws?
Emergencies usually fit the bill...
... of proper interference; if someone's having a medical emergency on the bus, or a traffic emergency (flagging the bus to a stop before it rams into the extant car-wreck) outside, those are pretty typical reasons for stopping the bus.
There are ordinances like the one you cite pretty much everywhere on earth that has public transportation.
From the suburbs, not familiar with public transit
If only he had been raised by more cosmopolitan parents and shown more compassion!
