What a turncoat! The first woman to appear on the StL side (Karen Bliznik, SLSO's principal trumpet) grew up in Brockton, MA and went to BU! And she went to Northwestern for grad school--you'd think she could at least be a Cubs fan!
I'm friends with a friend of Seiji's daughter. Seiji has a lifetime pass to Fenway Park. My friend told me that Seiji and his daughter came to town expressly for the games -- a reward to himself for all the hard work he's had to do in recovering from illness.

So glad to see him back in town...
... and he certainly is entitled to reward himself (and his daughter). ;~}
I don't know much about
I don't know much about baseball, but this civilized back and forth ribbing is really great!
Bring on the World Series Cup!
I want to see the uncut version!
This is truly terrific. Congrats and thanks to the people who put this together so quick.
I want to see both performances uncut. (They should have put a short fade between cuts so it wouldn't have been as choppy...)
BSO wins!
The BSO tuba actually stood up and played. We win!
