He was likely trying to drum up the yuks among his friends and fellow officers. I'd had co-workers who thought the way to popularity was to insult just about every other group people people, particularly those who they felt were below them.
The sad part is that for every one officer that posts this stuff publicly there are dozens who believe the same thing but are at least smart enough not to write it down. And they wonder why minorities fear the police.
Anyone who this officer had arrested with a good lawyer will claim that this showed bias toward their client and might get the charges dropped or reduced even if the guy who he arrested really was a danger.
T he last paragraph in the story is the most troubling. He was granted immunity for the beating of a drunk. It appears he thought he was untouchable how many disabled, homeless passengers did he mistreat on the Orange Line?
