Charlestown bank robber gets 14 years for three heists

The FBI reports Ryan Patrick Lane, 35, pleaded guilty to robbing banks in Hingham, Quincy and New Hampshire last year.

In exchange for his plea, Lane, who was already known to police, was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison.

Officials say he got a total of $16,296 from the three robberies.
