Common Ground in Allston briefly becomes a drive-in

Andrew Husband photographed the aftermath of a crash this morning, in which somebody in a Nissan drove into the front of Common Ground, 85 Harvard Ave.

Impressive Window Unit
That window unit hardly looks scratched which is impressive considering the entire thing was knocked in that hard.
There really should be a law that if you cause structural damage to a building by ramming it with your car your license is revoked forever.
America worships the
America worships the automobile. These machines are so dangerous, but getting a license requires considerably less effort and training than flipping burgers and they almost never take it away from you, regardless of how irresponsible or just plain incompetant you are. If you murder a person in the crosswalk with your car, they won't give you so much as a speeding ticket, much less prosecute you.
Cars are far more dangerous than guns, but it's much easier to get a car and much harder to have it taken away for criminal behavior.
