Her on the job performance is practically incompetent. If this was a case of the private sector ,it would be a case of failure to perform fiduciary duties. She lacks a sense of independent judgement. How she ever got away with prosecuting Tim Cahill, which could be construed as posturing to remove him as a viable future candidate for a position that she had aspirations towards, is suspect to some. Sheesh.....

I'll Bite. I have to as that woman irritates the hell out of me since the senate race. She been our AG for years and it's been a stream of wtf failures. Just look at her tagged UHub articles. The comments are full of gold too.

To be fair, in the UHub links, it's not all bad. There's that endorsement that does exist on the first page. And some other stuff. But I think I have seen enough stuff that I have to conclude she has been a rolling train of fail. I cannot honestly vote for her. And those who do, I am must ask how do you ignore such examples.

You know what pains me on top of all of this? She's a fellow BU alum (though the law school, not undergrad), I should be rooting for her, but I can't.

I hope Charlie Baker is an infrastructure and open to transit (then again, Patrick had 8 years but didn't done that much). Republicans are not known to be very generous to that type of policy, but man, I'm not going to vote for Croakley.

I am as hardcore a feminist as they come and the idea that women are a monolith who must always vote for a female candidate is insulting.

I am an issues voter and am a moderate. I vote for whomever resonates with me the most and do not vote by gender.

She doesn't appeal to me as a potential governor so I will not be voting for her. End of story.

I agree in general that the governor is not very powerful, but I think Romney, Swift and Cellucci showed a total lack of interest in the job and only used it to go for a higher office. I would strongly disagree that Patrick was similar to Romney, you can disagree with his stances and his performance, but we would not have had the level of long term investment in public transit and road/bridge repair if left to the legislature, who are always up for a new commuter rail or highway project but not much for anything else, especially within the subway system. Open space preservation and alternative energy were also pushes by Patrick. Romney, after Romneycare he checked out and worked on his stump speech for president. The governor, if she or he chooses, can illustrate a vision and push for it, the way Dukakis, Weld and Patrick did. We will see if either of these candidates say anything other than they want to create jobs.
